Cuban Cigar

The Cuban cigar has a strong reputation around the world as one of the expert producers. The best cigar in the world, Cohiba, has two Nicaraguan brands that are named like this, but none is as good. Cuba has the precise temperature and climate for tobacco planting, their special soil give it an unequaled taste. This is why there is no cigar like it. Others might be very good, but these are different from all the others.

The secret also lies in the making of a Cuban cigar, they are hand made. First a careful cleaning of the leaves. Then letting the tobacco leaves dry with smoke. Latter, the "blend" is chosen, which is a mixture of different quantities and kind of leaves to give each cigar a special flavor. The wrapping allows more air to flow by and a better draw. Then they are left to age about 6 months to make the different kinds of leafs blend together.

A machine made Cuban cigar is also available, as many smaller versions are now being produced.

You can purchase a Cuban cigar in Spain and Chile at very good prices. England has a refined and well educated consumer that will prefer a Cuban cigar to almost any other. From here, almost al the world is then reached, the price going up on every stop, of course.

Cuban cigars are often imitated and sold as original ones, to the frustration and disappointment of the buyer. That is why it's so important to go through an authorized distributor.

Some Cuban cigar brands are "Diplomaticos", "Belinda", "Bolivar", "Cohiba", "Cuaba", "El Rey del Mundo", "Fonseca", "La Gloria Cubana", "Montecristo", "Partagas", "Romeo y Julieta", "H.upmann", among others.

The sad part is you cannot smoke a Cuban cigar if you are American, the government has decreed that even if you are abroad, you will have to obey the disposition. This is pretty much an absurd law, if you ask me, because you cannot use anything Cuban, not even products that were manufactured with Cuban products. The American tourists will spend a lot of time checking the precedence of everything that is being purchased, and of course consumed. You are warned now, because next time you are zipping a cup of coffee in your vacations in Paris you could end up 10 years in jail... if the sugar in the coffee was Cuban. The law also has set up a 250,000 dollar fee for the purchase of the product, which will only create corruption and uncertainty.
